Equipment & Electrical Icon Kit — Free

A free, production-ready icon set for Niagara graphics. 40 mechanical and electrical symbols drawn on one 32px grid with a single stroke weight, so they sit together on a schematic instead of looking assembled from three different sources.

800 files. Every icon ships as SVG in five variants, and as transparent PNG at 16, 24 and 32 pixels.

The 40 icons

Airside (11) — air handling unit, supply fan, return fan, exhaust fan, damper, filter, cooling coil, heating coil, energy recovery wheel, humidifier, diffuser

Terminal (4) — VAV box, VAV with reheat, fan coil unit, ductwork

Hydronic (10) — chiller, cooling tower, boiler, pump, two-way valve, three-way valve, heat exchanger, expansion tank, storage tank, strainer

Sensors (7) — temperature, humidity, pressure, CO2, occupancy, flow meter, thermostat

Electrical (8) — switchgear, energy meter, transformer, generator, UPS, variable frequency drive, motor, lighting

Five variants of each

Dark and light, matched to the two Px themes, plus three equipment states: running, fault and off. Filenames are identical across every variant and every size, so changing a state is a substitution on one path segment and nothing else.

State is carried by shape, not just colour

Under deuteranopia the green and the red separate by 4.1 delta-E, which is effectively not at all. A technician with the most common form of colour blindness would see a running pump and a failed pump as the same picture.

So the fault icon takes a filled triangle badge and the off icon a filled disc, while normal stays clean. Colour reinforces the silhouette rather than being the only signal.

Built for Niagara, not just for browsers

Workbench does not render SVG the way Chrome does, and the failure is silent: an icon that looks perfect in a browser draws as a blank box in the Px view.

200 SVG files, 600 transparent PNG files, a Px icon board for both themes so you can confirm Workbench draws them before wiring anything up, an HTML contact sheet, the generators so you can recolour the set for a client from one line, and install notes.
