Build faster with Smart Build

Choose a preconfigured AHU arrangement as your starting point. Customize equipment, removable roof panels, air connections and controls to represent your actual unit.

Customize every layout

Drag components from the visual library, reposition placed equipment and snap compatible connections together. Add custom duct runs, elbows, branches, dampers, sensors and accessories. Auto Assemble organizes existing AHU sections using predefined equipment order.

Show the details that matter

Switch compatible ductwork between closed and open cutaway views. Reposition point bezels and equipment names, and control the visibility of sensors, accessories, labels and roof panels.

Prepare live Niagara graphics

Assign station ORDs to equipment and points, or import a CSV point list and review automatic matches. Configure editable value labels, command popups, setpoint fields and action buttons for supported components.

Binding checks help identify missing paths, formatting issues and known data-type mismatches before export.

Add equipment animation

Use Boolean off/run imagery and numeric position mapping for supported equipment. Choose Low, Medium or High speeds for looping animations—the exported GIFs retain your selection.

Export high-definition results

The built-in renderer produces a centered, full-unit PNG with a transparent background. Enter your desired image width and keep the height proportional.

Niagara packages include independent equipment assets plus a shell-and-ductwork background and layered PX page, giving you flexibility to edit the final interface in Workbench.

Requirements and licensing: Windows 10 or 11, x64. Internet access is required for activation and licensed exports. Each completed top-level export uses one export credit; building, editing, saving and loading do not. See the selected purchase option for included credits.

Niagara compatibility: Exports target Niagara 4.8 and later. Verify station modules, file paths, point bindings and operator permissions in Workbench before deployment. AHU Builder creates graphics and binding configurations; it does not generate or commission control programming.

How the license works

• One-time commercial license — activates the builder for one installation, no annual renewal.
• 25 export credits included. Each completed top-level export consumes one credit; building, configuring and previewing do not use credits.
• Top up 25, 50, 75 or 100 export credits anytime — select AHU Builder and your pack size on the refill page, or buy from the My AHU License portal. The builder itself keeps working either way.
• Your license key is issued instantly after successful payment, with activation instructions.
