AXIS Floorplan Builder

AXIS is a standalone, browser-based floor plan and BMS authoring tool for the Tridium Niagara framework. Import a plan image, calibrate its scale, trace the building once — then export the result as a native Niagara PX page with every room, zone and point already bound. The workspace is split into four areas: the top navigation, the left tool rail, the 2D/3D canvas in the centre, and the Properties / Levels / Model Info console on the right.

What the builder does

• Trace from any plan image - drop in a scan, screenshot or exported drawing, calibrate the scale against a known dimension, then trace walls over the top with the underlay dimmed to whatever opacity suits. Replace the image at any time without redrawing.
• Build the shell - straight and arced walls, rooms, zones, closed doors, windows, stairs, elevators, columns and open frames, with move, rotate, scale, offset, trim, extend and duplicate for cleanup. Walls, doors and windows, stairs and elevators, rooms, zones, furniture, annotations and BMS points each sit on their own layer and toggle independently.
• Place real BMS objects - thermostats as wall points, sensors as room points, controllers as panels or DDCs, and equipment tags. Every object exports as its own native Niagara PX component with independent value and status bindings.
• Room thermographs - add a thermograph to any closed room and it exports as a room-shaped heat map: a named CanvasPane and path, live temperature and setpoint BoundLabels, and a colour-spectrum binding on the room skin driven by your Graphics Logic colorBrush output. Set the space temperature, colour spectrum and setpoint ORDs per room, preview the value, and tune the spectrum span across the cold-to-hot ramp.
• Multi-level projects - ground floor, intermediate levels and roof in one model, each level duplicable, with live wall, door, window, stair and elevator counts in Model Info and per-room area, perimeter and height in Properties.
• 2D and 3D from one model - switch the same drawing between the 2D working view and a rendered 3D view at any point, with autosave, save and load, and a share link from the top bar.

What you can export

• Native Niagara PX - the PX page plus the floor plan SVG asset, with the PX file name and Niagara asset folder ORD set at export time. Copy both into the station file folder and relink thermograph ORDs in Workbench.
• Presentation renders - realistic 3D output from the current camera view at 1920 × 1080 through 6K, A3 at 4961 × 3508, or any custom size, with a choice of background and render style.
• Optional overlays - include or omit room names, area labels and BMS point tags and values in the rendered output.
