LUMA Dashboard Template

A complete, production-ready commercial office graphics package for the Tridium Niagara framework. LUMA adds eleven linked pages to an existing station and covers the whole building: command center, floors and comfort, HVAC and indoor air, energy, occupancy, access and security, elevators, work orders, alarms, operating preferences and user database. Everything is built native to Niagara with no third-party graphics engine required.

The pages are premade and ready to run. You install them in Workbench, point them at your station's existing points, and building staff open them in Chrome. Nothing in the station gets renamed or moved, and there is no code or JSON to edit.

What's included

• Command - building pulse, comfort index, electric demand and people on site, plus a building performance score out of 100 across comfort, efficiency, air quality and reliability, today's load profile, comfort by floor, indoor air quality and an operator focus list ranked by operational impact.
• Floors and Comfort - interactive tower stack with temperature, CO2, humidity and occupancy views, level by level zone detail, an optional floor plan, and setpoint control one zone at a time or floor-wide with exact-target review and read-back confirmation.
• HVAC and Indoor Air - central plant and air distribution from chillers and pumps through air handlers to occupied zones, per-unit health badges, equipment drawers with supply air, fan speed, airflow, static pressure and twelve-hour trends, and CO2, PM2.5 and humidity histories.
• Energy - live electric demand against the contract peak threshold, today's use, energy intensity, operational carbon and on-site solar, with demand profile, load composition, utility cost, carbon trajectory and peak readiness.
• Occupancy and Utilization - people on site, desks in use, rooms available and parking, with live utilization by floor, arrival rhythm, space mix, busiest destinations and tenant experience. Aggregate totals only, never individuals.
• Access and Security - access events, cameras online, secured doors and an after-hours list, with a filterable live entry stream, a denied-credential banner for the last 24 hours, and a core area security map with camera wall. Status only: LUMA doesn't show camera pictures or control doors.
• Elevators - fleet availability, average wait, trips today and regenerated energy, with live car positions by bank, destination versus conventional dispatch performance, car detail and predictive service insights.
• Work Orders - an operations workboard with search, trade, status, priority and owner filters, active work, due within 24 hours, average response and 30-day close rate, plus raise, reassign and complete workflows. Orders raised from an alarm keep a link back to the alarm that started them.
• Alarms - a priority-sorted acknowledgment queue reading your station's real alarm database, with severity, source, state, age and owner, single or bulk acknowledgment, returned-to-normal handling, and work orders raised straight from the alarm drawer.
• Operating Preferences - building profile, schedules and modes with direct access to the Niagara schedule editor, comfort targets, demand strategy, notification routing with a test-connection check, integration health, appearance and weather.
• User Database - the accounts that can sign in to LUMA, their roles and whether they're enabled.

Built for the people who run the building

• Four languages built in. English, Español, Français and Deutsch, switched per user from the header.
• Honest data. Every value is labelled LIVE, COMPUTED, STALE, OVERRIDE, PARTIAL SOURCE or NOT CONFIGURED. A missing value never shows as zero.
• Export anything. Lists and charts save to CSV or print to PDF with the filters, range and capture time on the page.
• Search across the building. Pages, equipment, spaces and open work orders from one box.
• Read-only by default. LUMA reads your points. It writes only where you allow it: zone setpoints and the settings you expose.
• Appearance per operator. Color theme, text size, font, units and density, set by each user on their own screen.

Built for Niagara, not just for browsers

• Native PX and BAJAUX views, delivered as four signed Niagara modules. No third-party graphics runtime.
• Point binding through standard Property Sheets, one equipment source at a time. Sites whose point names already match LUMA's can bind a whole folder at once.
• Pages are editable in Workbench's Px Editor with a full component palette, so the package is a starting point, not a locked skin.
• Ships with example data on every page so you can see the whole system working before you connect anything, then switch examples off area by area as each one goes live. A second set with every example already off is included if you'd rather start empty.
• Licensed per Niagara host. Activation uses the purchase key from your order email and reads the station's host ID itself.

Requirements

• Niagara N4.10 and later, tested across all JACE brands.
• Tools Workbench to install and connect. Chrome on a desktop or laptop for daily use.
• Network HTTPS from the station host to licenses.niagaraui.com for activation. Internet access for the optional weather reader.
• Account A Niagara administrator account, and Medium module verification.

In the download

LUMA package release 1.0.5: four signed modules and their signing certificate, the LUMA component bog and license service, the eleven PX pages and their navigation file, a second unconfigured page set with examples off, README and manifest with SHA-256 checksums for every file.

Documentation is included and written for three different readers: a 47-page Integrator Guide covering install, activation, page-by-page point binding and customization, a 22-page Operator Guide for building staff, and a two-page quick card for the control room wall.
