SOLAR IQ Dashboard Template
SOLAR IQ is a complete, production-ready renewable energy graphics package for the Tridium Niagara Framework. Designed for solar, storage, and grid-connected sites, it brings generation, battery dispatch, grid export, alarms, maintenance, and sustainability reporting into one clear operational dashboard.
The interface gives renewable operations teams an immediate view of plant performance, with live KPIs connected to array-level, inverter-level, and battery-rack-level detail. Everything is built natively for Niagara, with no third-party graphics engine or additional graphics runtime required.
Open the demo in a new browser window to explore the interface, navigate between plant views, watch live mocked data, review forecasts and trends, and see how SOLAR IQ brings generation, storage, and grid exchange together in one consistent experience.
What's included
- Energy Home — Plant-wide summary of solar output, battery state of charge, grid export, and performance ratio, with a live energy flow overview, generation curve, weather window, and prioritized attention list.
- Solar Arrays — Array inventory with output versus capacity, irradiance, module temperature, and yield across single-axis, fixed-tilt, rooftop, and canopy sites, with live filtering and search.
- Energy Flow — Real-time single-line view of generation, site load, storage, and net export with inverter efficiency, self-consumption, export limit, reactive power, and plant controller dispatch posture.
- Battery Storage — Rack state of charge, power and SOC trending, cell temperature, peak dispatch planning, and overall battery health.
- Analytics — Actual versus forecast generation by day, week, month, and year, seven-day solar forecast, specific yield comparison by array, and an energy loss tree.
- Alarms — Priority-sorted active alarm queue with severity filters, energy-at-risk impact, acknowledgement workflow, and response time tracking.
- Maintenance — Corrective, preventive, and predictive work orders with owner, best production window, due date, and progress, scheduled around yield.
- Sustainability — Renewable energy delivered, avoided carbon, homes powered, water saved, 2030 pathway targets, land and biodiversity metrics, and a carbon ledger.
- Settings — Plant station connection, dispatch and optimization preferences, notification and reporting routing, and Niagara station information.
Built for Niagara
SOLAR IQ is designed as a native Niagara graphics package rather than a separate application layered on top of the station.
- Native PX and BAJAUX views
- No third-party graphics runtime
- No additional graphics licensing
- Designed for Niagara N4.10 and later and tested across all JACE brands
- Multi-site renewable plant architecture
- Responsive layouts for control rooms, desktop, and tablet
- Editable colors, branding, labels, and navigation
- Reusable KPI cards, charts, gauges, and status components
- Consistent point naming and binding structure
- Clear status, alarm, and trend visualization for day-to-day plant operation
A whole-plant view without the clutter
SOLAR IQ is built for renewable operations teams that need to understand how the entire plant is performing, not just individual inverters or battery racks.
The dashboard turns large amounts of generation, storage, and grid data into a focused set of actionable KPIs, making it easier to compare arrays, spot underperformance, plan battery dispatch, schedule work around production, and track carbon and sustainability goals.
In the download
Four signed modules and their signing certificate, the SOLAR IQ component bog and license service, the nine PX pages and their navigation file, a second unconfigured page set with examples off, README and manifest with SHA-256 checksums for every file.
Documentation is included and written for three different readers: an Integrator Guide covering install, activation, page-by-page point binding and customization, an Operator Guide for plant staff, and a quick card for the control room wall.
Free updates are included for the life of the pack.
